APPRENTICESHIPS AT UNILEVER

We’re a global business with amazing brands and fresh innovative ideas.

That means an apprenticeship here is full of opportunities – a place from which to start and build your career in new and exciting directions.

You already know our brands; they’re loved the world over. Two billion people in 190 countries buy and use our products every day. In the UK we have 40 brands with annual sales of around 2.5 billion euros. Many are market leaders including Persil, Dove, Magnum, Flora, Marmite and Lynx and you can find our products in the kitchens, fridges, freezers and bathrooms in nine out of every ten UK homes. In making some of these familiar brands we also have a huge responsibility to current consumers and future generations. That’s why our products aim to leave the world a better place – from providing food and refreshments with less salt and sugar content, to reducing packaging in our deodorants and homecare products.

Unilever Brands

THE PLANET AT OUR HEART

We’re a respectful, responsible, pioneering company, and we act with integrity. Our vision is to double the size of our business while reducing our environmental footprint and increasing our positive social impact. From water consumption to CO2, sustainability is important to us. Our purpose is to make sustainable living commonplace – and by joining us, you become part of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan too.

WHY CHOOSE A UNILEVER APPRENTICESHIP?

An apprenticeship in the area of Business and Technology at Unilever is a springboard to a career in a corporate office environment. Working under the guidance of a dedicated line manager, you will gain the technical knowledge and skills you need to succeed through a combination of real, practical experience and formal training. Whether you want to kick start your career in Administration, IT or Project Management, Unilever’s opportunities allow you to gain invaluable experience in a global, large-scale and diverse company.

We find that apprentices bring a new perspective and a fresh way of thinking to our organisation. From the engineers in our factories, to the scientists in our R&D sites; producers of brand artwork to writers of communications; those working in collaboration with school chefs to create recipes using fresh ingredients, to those creating mobile optimisation websites – our apprentices continually deliver innovative ways to meet the everyday needs for nutrition, hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life.

Embarking on an apprenticeship with us is a worthwhile alternative to university and results in nationally recognised qualifications. We’re proud to have been named one of the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers by the National Apprenticeship Service.

We will give you:

  • knowledge and real on-the-job experience
  • transferable skills
