BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ADVANCED APPRENTICESHIPS

Locations: Leatherhead & London (Blackfrairs)

Starting salary: From £13,520, plus benefits (will increase in the 2nd year)

We are looking for Business Administration Apprentices to join our support teams in a number of functions across the business.

As a Business Administration Apprentice your role will be to provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the business. You will provide effective communication and support, setting high standards to help achieve excellence within your role and across and the company. The role will require an ability to prioritise a varied workload and solve problems. It is essential that you also have a good telephone manner and can communicate professionally at all times.

As an Apprentice, you’ll combine on-the-job experience and formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our functional operations. You’ll join a team dedicated to enhancing your career experiences and providing the opportunities to develop the skills aligned to your role and responsibilities.

Have you got what it takes?

We are looking to recruit hard-working, talented individuals who want to experience the world of business. We are seeking candidates who are committed to the programme and we are hoping to attract people from a wide variety of backgrounds to our business.

To apply you’ll need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least 5 GCSE’s (or Equivalent) grade C or above including English Language and Maths
  • You’ll be working as part of a team, so excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Someone who is willing to contribute their ideas and think for themselves
  • Someone who is up for a challenge, is able to use their own initiative to solve problems, and can demonstrate good attention to detail
  • You must also be eligible to work in the UK

In return, you will be able to gain experience at one of the world’s leading fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and an NVQ Level 3 qualification.

This is an 18 month programme

Additional Information:
A free station shuttle bus service operates between Unilever House Leatherhead and Leatherhead Station on a frequent basis, providing a fast and convenient connection between the station and the site. The site is located approximately 15 minutes walk from Leatherhead railway station. Trains serving Leatherhead railway station operate between London Waterloo and London Victoria to Dorking/ Guildford/ Horsham via Clapham Junction and Epsom.

IT ADVANCED & HIGHER APPRENTICESHIPS

Location: Leatherhead and Kingston
Starting salary: from £13,000 pa

Unilever is currently offering Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships in I.T. based in our UK offices in Kingston and Leatherhead. Working in partnership with PDS, our Advanced Apprenticeship programme is two years long (typically) and our Higher is three years (typically) with the potential to become a permanent employee at Unilever upon completion.

As an Apprentice, you’ll combine on-the-job experience and formal training to gain the technical and business knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our functional operations. You’ll join a team dedicated to enhancing your career experiences and providing the opportunities to develop the skills aligned to your role and responsibilities.

Have you got what it takes?

We are looking to recruit hard-working, talented individuals who want to experience the world of business & I.T. We are seeking candidates who are committed to the programme and we are hoping to attract people from a wide variety of backgrounds to our business.

To apply you’ll need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above that include English, Maths and ideally either ICT or Science
  • A minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent) - only required for the Higher Apprenticeship programmes
  • An ability to prioritise a varied workload and solve problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Works well as part of team
  • Demonstrates an ability to organise and plan well
  • A willingness to contribute your ideas and think for yourself.
  • Be up for a challenge, an ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • You must also be eligible to work in the UK
